About

I’m currently working in a well-established institution which was certified ‘A++’ By National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), India. Previously I worked in one of the top institutions in Andhra Pradesh, India. I believe I can offer good service because of my passion for teaching and learning as well. I'm a driven person who works hard to attain my goals. The ability to overcome obstacles and follow things through to completion has always been a strong point of mine, which is why I’ve managed to thrive in such a competitive subject. I also have direct experience of online research guidance and would be happy to take a lead on introducing that. In the next year I will be finishing up the revisions on my manuscript which is due for publication. I have a special interest in exams/inspection etc’. I had some experience in this role at my last institution and realised that I have the skills necessary to do it well. I believe that the ability to formulate specific, exacting, sometimes open-ended questions is what propels both teaching and learning, and I train the students for the same. In my current workplace, I follow an effective method to teach each student individually which is virtually impossible in the classroom. So, I schedule an individual conference with each of our students at least once in six months. This helps me to focus on each student’s strength and weakness which further helps me to schedule my classes in such a way to meet the needs of all the students. Like every other public health dentist, seeing equity in health is my professional motto. I have organized many successful community programs to serve disadvantaged population. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to work effectively with many different people. I believe that teamwork is a very important and effective way to solve problems and increase productivity. I am extremely organized and skilled at budgeting my time. When I begin any work, I create a timeline for myself that allows me to complete it in a timely manner without taking my work home. However, I understand that sometimes timelines change, or issues come up, and I am always willing to take work home with me when that happens. Since my spouse also works in the same field, I haven’t faced with any issues related to work and family life balance.
