National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) - Ahmedabad, Novartis (India), Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg: Erlangen, Bayern, DE
About
I have acquired research experience in diverse fields of chemistry (organic synthesis, computational modeling and advance analytical chemistry). I have performed organic synthesis of small molecules including donor-acceptor complexes of divalent nitrogen during Ph.D. and peptide synthesis as masters project. I have experience and knowledge of various quantum chemical methods regarding the thermodynamic behavior of organic molecules. I gained industrial experience in Biocon Bristol Myers Squibb Research and Development Centre (BBRC, Syngene Intl. Bengaluru, KA, India) for more the 2 years in a close contact with process chemistry team (responsible for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient research and development) and acquired extensive experience in method development and validation for qualitative/quantitative analysis of impurities in API and other drug substances using HPLC, UPLC, LCMS, IC, HS/GC-FID Raman spectroscopy and NIR instruments as per internal SOP and ICH guidelines.
