NEELIMA DUBEY
Dr. Reddy's Institute of Life Science, Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, National Centre for Cell Science
About
Our Laboratory is interested in understanding endocrine regulation of brain functioning. Her immediate focus is towards understanding the involvement of reproductive steroids in the pathophysiology and molecular basis of brain diseases such as postpartum depression and major depressive disorders in women. Her laboratory’s key expertise is in modeling diseases with a “Disease in a Dish” approach. The lab utilizes patient-derived in vitro disease models such as immortalized cellular models, and stem cell models (LCLs, iPSC & brain organoid) to investigate the molecular mechanisms involved in the hormonal regulation of brain functions
