Dr. Avnish Kumar Department of Biotechnology, School of Life Sciences, Agra has completed his Ph.D. from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Univ., Agra 2009. Then joined a Research associate ship at the Central Institute for Research on Goats which is a premier Institution of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, India. Presently, he is teaching M.Sc. students in the Department of Biotechnology, School of Life Sciences, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra since 2010. He has published 48 research and review papers in reputed journals, 14 chapters in Book, and Nine books. His major achievements are patents (filed) and the discovery of azo dye-degrading bacteria for the treatment of textile effluent. He has been serving as an editorial board member and reviewer of reputed national & international Journals. He has got awards for his scientific works from reputed agencies. His success in the field of Biotechnology is continued to date.
