Dr Shailendra Prasad verma is currently working as Pofessor & Head, Department of Clinical Hematology at prestigious King George’s Medical University Lucknow, UP.
He completed his Post-graduation (MD, Medicine) from King George’s Medical University, Lucknow in 2008. He specialised in Clinical Hematology from JIPMER, Pondicherry in 2014.
He has total 18 years of Experience as faculty and 11 years in Clinical Hematology
He has more than 120 publications in various national and international journals. His areas of special interest are haemophilia and bleeding disorders, Marrow failure syndromes, leukemia and ITP.
He is member of International and national professional bodies like ASH, EHA, ISHBT and API.
He has conducted studies in the field of low dose factor prophylaxis in hemophila A and initiated stem cell transplant at KGMU.
He is also currently principal investigator of ATLAS-OLE trial at KGMU, studying the role of Futisiran in Hemophilia patient with or without inhibit
