About
I have completed my Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Alisdair Fernie at Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology, Potsdam, Germany. Here, I have identified key transcription factors regulating tomato fruit ripening process by applying comparative transcriptomics and expression QTL approach (https://doi.org/10.1093/
plphys/kiac200). I was postdoc with Dr. Gitanjali Yadav’s lab at NIPGR, New Delhi where I developed my skills in co-expression network construction and software testing, and studied molecular mechanisms underlying abiotic stress tolerance in Chick pea. Next, I joined Dr. Tanushri Kaul’s lab at ICGEB, New Delhi where I identified key regulators of abiotic stress responses in pigeonpea. I have also done SNP and INDEL analysis of chlorophyll biosynthesis mutants in rice. Thereafter I joined Dr Monica Borghi Lab at Utah State University Logan USA and worked on blueberry flower transcriptomics and metabolomics.
