Dr Asis Mistry is a Political Scientist working through South Asian empirical sites. He works on ethnicity, nationalism, democratic politics, critical theory, and decolonial epistemologies. He has published in journals like Asian Survey, Contemporary South Asia, Ethnicities, Asian Ethnicity, Political Studies Review, Contemporary Voice of Dalit, Socialist Perspective and Economic and Political Weekly. His books include The Idea of Injustice (Palgrave Macmillan) and Rethinking Social Science Research (Peter Lang).
