About
Shuvajit is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Chalmers University of Technology, investigating the integration of magnetic fields into structural battery composites to advance multifunctional energy storage.
Previously, as Deputy Manager (R&D) at NILE Li-Cycle in Hyderabad, India, he contributed to hydrometallurgical lithium recovery from battery waste, advancing pyro-hydrometallurgical LFP recycling and graphite recovery techniques.
His Ph.D. research focused on the sustainable synthesis and recycling of battery-grade graphite for conventional lithium-ion batteries and next-generation dual-ion batteries. His core expertise spans the synthesis and characterization of battery materials, coin/pouch cell fabrication and electrochemical analysis, the mechanistic interpretation of degradation pathways, and the design of efficient recycling routes.
Ultimately, his work bridges advanced energy storage and sustainability, driven by a vision to pioneer new paradigms of transformative, self-sustaining, and biomimetic multifunctional energy solutions.
