Navid Rabiee, Ph.D., (Citations > 50,000; H-Index: 78) is a multidisciplinary scientist and one of the top 1% highly-cited researchers (based on Web of Science), whose work spans across molecular biology, cellular biology, biochemical sciences, and engineering to advance medical systems and devices for patient care. With a pioneering spirit in BioInorganic Chemistry, Dr. Rabiee has led groundbreaking work on CRISPR delivery systems through the application of inorganic nano-vectors, significantly advancing precision gene editing technologies. He has also spearheaded the development of high-gravity synthesis techniques for creating porous (in)organic nanomaterials grounded in green chemistry principles. This work laid the foundation for a new scientific field known as “Green Biomaterials,” dedicated to sustainable innovation in biomaterials science.
Dr. Rabiee has made impactful contributions to both academic research and applied science, with over 350 peer-reviewed journal articles published in esteemed journals such as Nature, Nature Medicine, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, and The Lancet. He has also authored 10 books and more than 20 book chapters, shaping scientific knowledge across multiple fields.
