About
Prof. Dr. Karthick Raghunath K. M is a distinguished academic and researcher with over 15 years of experience in Computer Science and Engineering at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bangalore, India. A Post-Doctoral Fellow from the University of South Florida, USA, he holds a Ph.D. in Pervasive Computing Technologies from Anna University and currently serves as an Associate Professor and R&D Coordinator at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bangalore. His research expertise spans Wireless Sensor Networks, AI, Machine Learning, Pervasive Computing, IoT, and Cyber-Physical Systems. Dr. Raghunath has published six patents, authored a book, and contributed over 30 Scopus and SCIE-indexed articles, including Q1, Q2, and Q3 journals with high impact factoring. He is actively involved in research supervision, with credentials as a JAIN University and VTU-recognized research supervisor, and has guided more than 70 UG and PG projects. He has also published books and book chapters, secured funded research projects, and serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for reputed journals like Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, IEEE Transactions and IGI Global. With professional memberships in IEEE (Senior Member), ACM, IAENG, IE, and IACSIT, he has played key roles in academic accreditation processes and organized large-scale workshops and technical symposia. His current research interests include Explainable AI for medical imaging, cloud-IoT integration, and intelligent cyber-physical systems.
