Sunita Sarkar

About

Sunita Sarkar is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Assam University, Silchar, India. She holds a B. Tech from Jorhat Engineering College in 2001, M. Tech from Tezpur University in 2003, and Ph.D. from Assam University Silchar, India in 2016.

She has co-edited a few books to her credit. She has published over 40 papers in various international journals and conference proceedings, as well as a few chapters in edited volumes. Her research interests include Natural Language Processing, Data Mining, and Machine Learning.

She is a member of the IEEE Kolkata section, IEEE CIS Kolkata, and IEEE Women in Engineering; a life member of the Computer Society of India and a fellow of IETE.
