About

Dr.Siddarth Shankar Das is Scientist-SG at Space Physics Laboratory, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre of ISRO, Trivandrum. He is a former Scientist of National Institute of Wind Energy, MNRE, Chennai. He has significant contributions in the field of stratosphere-troposphere interactions, which have a global impact in the climate-weather systems. In addition he has major contribution for publishing the ‘First Indian Wind Atlas’, which certainly empower equally the industries, academia and researches to exploit wind as a viable green power in India. He is a recipient of INSA Young Scientist Award-2012, IETE Young Scientist Award-2012, URSI Young Scientist Award-2005, AP-RASC Young Scientist Award-2010, IMS Young Scientist Award-2018, University meritorious award and many best paper awards.
Felicitated by VSSC-ISRO for highest number of publication in referred journals as first author during 2010-2024. Received many technical hindi seminar awards from ISRO.
