About
Dr. Malhotra is serving as Professor and Dean Research & Consultancy at National Institute of Technology Delhi. Earlier, he has also served as Registrar and Dean Student Welfare at NIT Delhi. He had the experience to work at various Teaching, Research & Administrative positions with GNDU Amritsar, Panjab University Chandigarh and DAVCMC New Delhi.
He has research interests in the broad area of AI for Connected Ambience, Signals & Images, Wireless/Optical Communication Networks, Semiconductor Devices.
He has guided 12 scholars for the research pertaining to their PhD and more than 45 scholars for the MTech dissertation work.
His research work has been published in more than 175 SCI/Scopus indexed International Journals of Repute with the highest Impact Factor (Web of Science) of 12.300 and h-index as 37. He strongly believe in the continuing education for effective teaching- learning process and has participated & delivered lectures in more than 50 Faculty Development/ Instruction enhancement programs.
