About
Aditya Trivedi is a researcher at the Centre for Advanced Technologies, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland, specializing in enzymology, protein biochemistry, and molecular genetics. His research focuses on the functional characterization of proteases, with a current emphasis on the DPPIV family and their roles in protein and peptide processing within both animal model systems and human biology. In a recent publication, he demonstrated, for the first time, the tripeptidyl peptidase activity of the C. elegans enzyme DPF-3 and its human homolog, DPP4, work that revises classical definitions of substrate specificity and expands understanding of protease functions in genome stability, immune response, and therapeutic inhibitor design.
Aditya has a strong background in the development and application of biochemical assays, protein expression, purification, and biochemical kinetics. His collaborative projects include in vivo proteomics, structural biology (notably structural alignment and comparative modeling), and computational screening for substrate identification. His contributions are supported by grants from the National Science Center (NCN) in Poland.
