About
My Ph.D. research was focused on the biofilm and biomaterial interactions, specifically on the molecular characterization of biofilm-forming Candida species on biomaterials. During my postdoctoral studies, I have explored apoptotic pathways in the context of male infertility and contraception, dissecting the molecular mechanisms involved in the induction and execution of cell death in germ cells. My lab is recognized for its expertise in Biofilms, Anti-quorum sensing therapies, Quorum sensing, Medical microbiology and Cellular signaling (Mitochondrial health, Calcium homeostasis and apoptosis), demonstrating a broad and comprehensive approach to these fields.
