Dr. Mohammad Alyamani is an accomplished Research Assistant Professor with a strong focus on metabolic changes in prostate cancer. With nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Alyamani has been instrumental in developing and optimizing LC-MS methodologies for small molecule analysis, establishing a reputation as a leading expert in the field.
Throughout a distinguished career, Dr. Alyamani has published 19 peer-reviewed research articles, including five as first author, with an impressive overall h-index of 16. A recognized interdisciplinary collaborator, Dr. Alyamani has successfully led impactful research projects, securing competitive funding such as a CDMRP Prostate Cancer Research Program grant.
Dr. Alyamani has received 14 prestigious awards, further solidifying expertise in mass spectrometry, bioanalytical chemistry, and project management. A dedicated mentor and leader, Dr. Alyamani has supervised postdoctoral fellows and technicians, spearheading research on steroid metabolism, cancer progression, and biomarker discovery.
Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Research at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine, Dr. Alyamani continues to pioneer groundbreaking work in prostate cancer research, leveraging advanced metabolomics methodologies to translate scientific findings into clinically relevant applications.
