About
Dr Gourab Mukherjee is working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Chanakya University, Bengaluru. Prior to this, he served as a DST-Inspire Faculty at CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad. He was also a MOPGA Early Career Researcher at iSm2-Aix-Marseille University, France. Dr Mukherjee worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Edinburgh, UK, and TIFR Mumbai, working on artificial metalloenzymes, and metal binding studies. He completed his Ph.D. from IIT Guwahati (IITG), India, in 2019, investigating the stability and reactivity of high-valent metal intermediates, such as iron(IV)-oxo, towards oxidation reactions.
