About

I am a Professor at the University School of Management Studies, GGS IP University, Delhi. With over three decades of academic and research experience, I have served as the Dean of the University School of Management Studies (2017–2020) and held numerous academic leadership roles.

From 1989 to 1991, I was associated with the Research Institute for Economics and Business Administration, Kobe University, Japan, where I conducted research on Indo-Japanese joint ventures in the automotive industry. I also served as a faculty member at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, from 1992 to 1994.

At GGS IP University, in addition to teaching, I have been actively involved in academic administration as the:

My current research interests span & Marketing, Strategy, Development Informatics, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Total Quality Management.

As a Fulbright Scholar (2024 Fulbright-Nehru International Education Administrators Program), I visited top U.S. institutions, including the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, University of Notre Dame, Purdue University, University of Maryland, Baltimore, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Gallaudet University, and Malcolm X College, gaining valuable insights into the higher education spectrum. Additionally, I have been an academic visitor to the University of Manchester (UK), Osaka University (Japan), and Saint Petersburg State University (Russia).

I have published over 100 research papers in management journals and international conference proceedings. I have been a member of the Academy of Management and the Strategic Management Society and am a Life Member of the Global Institute of Flexible Systems Management (GIFT).

I am deeply passionate about teaching and committed to the well-being and holistic development of students. Mentoring and guiding them to achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals remains one of the most fulfilling aspects of my career.
