About

I am a PhD graduate in Thin Film and Solar Cell Device from Dibrugarh University, where I conducted my doctoral research under the supervision of Prof. P.K. Saikia. My research topic was “Optical and structural characterization of Cd1-xZnxS and CdxPb1-xS nanocrystalline thin films prepared by CBD technique for photovoltaic applications”. I have strong research skills and a solid background in physics and materials science.

As a research scholar, I was involved in synthesising and characterising the nanocrystalline Cd1-xZnxS and CdxPb1-xS thin films at different preparative parameters, using the chemical bath deposition (CBD) technique. I analysed the structural, morphological, optical, and electrical properties of the investigated films, and studied their potential for photovoltaic applications. I contributed to the advancement of knowledge and innovation in the field of thin film and solar cell device, and published multiple papers in reputed journals. I am passionate about finding solutions to the energy and environmental challenges of the world, and I would love to join a team that shares this vision and values. I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have worked with different collaborators and mentors from various backgrounds and disciplines.
