About
I am an MSc (Spl: Microbiology) from Burdwan University, MTech and PhD (Biotechnology) from IIT, Kharagpur, India and joined as a Research Associate at NML, Jamshedpur, India. I joined at Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA as a Postdoctoral Researcher in 2006 and relocated to India in 2010 December and Joined IIEST, Shibpur, Howrah, India in 2012.
My research interest is to develop diagnostics and therapeutics for brain diseases. We use Molecular biology, biotechnology, nanotechnology, analytical chemistry, bioinformatics tools and techniques. We also work on the electrical and mechanical properties of brain tissues to develop indigenous devices to solve several brain diseases like glioblastoma and Alzheimer's disease.
