About
Dr. Srinivas Jangili works as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal. He earned his M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from NIT Warangal in 2006, followed by a Ph.D. in Mathematics (Fluid Dynamics) in 2015 under the esteemed supervision of Prof. J. V. Ramana Murthy. His interests include and mass transfer, electrokinetic theory, micro- and nano-channel flows, and Solute Dispersion.
Dr. Srinivas began his academic career as an Adhoc Faculty at NIT Warangal in 2014 before joining NIT Meghalaya, Shillong, as an Assistant Professor in 2015, where he served for 4.5 years. In November 2019, he returned to NIT Warangal as an Assistant Professor, contributing to teaching, research, and mentoring students. Over the years, he has published 36 research papers in prestigious international journals. Dr. Srinivas has actively participated in international conferences, presenting his research findings in the USA and Germany, thereby strengthening his global academic collaborations.
Dr. Srinivas has received several notable awards and recognitions. In 2014, he was awarded the Best Paper Award for his oral presentation on "Second Law Analysis of Flow of Two Immiscible Couple Stress Fluids in Four Zones" at the 10th International Conference on Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, and Thermodynamics (HEFAT-2014) held in Orlando, Florida, USA. Additionally, he received DST International Travel Support for Young Scientists in 2014, enabling him to present his research at global platforms. In 2013, he was honored with the Best Poster Award at the Research Scholar’s Day organized by the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram.
Under his guidance, two Ph.D. students have completed their doctoral work, and currently, two students are pursuing their Ph.D. under his supervision.
