About
Dr. Mrs. Sharma is currently working as Professor with Uttaranchal University, She has worked as an Associate Professor with Uttaranchal University Dehradun(Uttarakhand ) India since 2022-2025. She has also worked as an Associate Professor with JBIT – Dehradun . Previously worked as Head of the Department, and Associate Professor with Roorkee Institute of Technology, Roorkee (India). She has more than nineteen years Academic and Administrative experience. She completed her Ph.D. from Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun(UK) in Batch 2010-2014.
She has participated in International Conference at World Bank Washington DC, USA in 2019. Also presented research paper at International Conference at American University of Phonom Penh 2024, Cambodia (travel partially funded by Uttaranchal University and UCOST. She could fetch full travel and stay grant from IIM Indore for paper presented in 2010.
She has authored several Research papers in National and International Journals and conferences of repute ( Scopus, webofsc, etc) and published patents and chapters.
She has been awarded with letter of appreciation by IIT Delhi for her contribution in Research in 2010.
She received several govt. funds for academic activities.
She received Award of Appreciation in Research during AICTE sponsored FDP in 2015.
She has also been awarded Excellent & Dedicated Academician Award by ITU San Jose, California, USA under faculty exchange program 2019..
Awarded with prize and appreciation certificate for contributing in State Level Brainstorming Session organized by Uttarakhand Council for Science and Technology- Uttarakhand on International Women`s Day 2024.
Her research meetings and global interactions earned her a prestigious Certificate of Appreciation 2025, recognizing her dedication to advancing knowledge and collaboration.
Recipient of the “Shiksha Shri Award 2026” conferred by Dr. Yadavendra Nath Memorial Trust, Roorkee on January 11, 2026, for invaluable contributions to education through skilled leadership, innovation, and research.
She has visited 6 state Universities of United States .. San Jose, San Francisco, Pittsburg, New York, Florida, Huston, University of Loisiana, San Ontario, Alabama South Missisipi , Washington, Chicago, Dallas , Cambodia, Bangkok and Vietnam for her research work. Recently she visited top US institutions, including University of Texas, Dallas, University of Arlington, and Naveen Jindal School of Management, USA. University of Loisiana, The University of Southern Mississippi. " Her Area of Interest is Organizational Behaviour, Organizational Structure and Personnel Management, Human Resource Management, International Human Resource Management etc
