Dr. ANAND PRAKASH is Associate Professor Academic Level 13A2 in the School of Project Management, NICMAR University, Pune, India. He has been admitted to Ph.D. from Birla Institute of Technology (Mesra, Ranchi), M.B.A. (Mktg. Mgmt. & Computer Mgmt.) from Indira Institute of Mgmt., Pune University, and B.E. (Mech. Engg.) from M.S.R.I.T., Bangalore University. He has more than 18 years of strong experience in reputed organizations and academics. He is engaged in post-graduate teaching, guidance to research scholars and undertakes projects. He has published and reviewed a number of papers in scholarly peer reviewed international journals. In particular, he has published 8 papers in C-category, 7 papers in B-category, 7 papers in A-category, and 1 paper in A*-category as per the ABDC listing of 2019. His 33 journal papers are in the listing of SCOPUS. His 7 journal papers are in the listing of SCI. He is also a reviewer of more than 30 international journals including ABDC A*/A/B/C journals. From time-to-time, he has presented a number of papers in national and international conferences of repute. He has worked on several collaborative research projects with researchers from several UK universities and researchers from France. He has also published two books, which are essentially doctoral theses submitted at deemed-to-be-university B.I.T. (Mesra). He has also authored two case studies for Ivey Publishing. He has taught courses viz. Operations Management, Applied Statistics and Analysis of Data, Research Tools and Methods, Operations Research, Logistics Management, and Supply Chain Management. His current research focus is on Digitalization and Industry 4.0, Smart and Sustainable Built Environment, and Managing Projects. His research areas of interest are Productivity and Performance Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Operations Strategy, and Risk Management. He has command over software like SPSS, AMOS, Stata, Project Management Oracle Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Palisade @Risk. He has guided two doctoral scholars. He has conducted many lectures on statistics and risk analysis using Palisade @Risk for Afcons Infrastructure Ltd., Shapoorji Pallonji Co. & Ltd., Larsen & Toubro (L&T), and Tata Steel in Executive Development Programmes. He has also conducted lectures on quantitative methods for National Aluminium Company Limited (Bhubaneswar) in Management Development Programmes. Additionally, he has conducted many Faculty Development Programmes on research tools and methods for various institutes affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and Dr DY Patil University in Pune. He is Senior Member of International Engineering and Technology Institute at Wuhan University in Wuhan (China) and Life Time Corporate Member of Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering in Navi Mumbai (India).
