About
Dr. S. Ramesh Kumar obtained his Ph.D. in Zoology from Sadakathullah Appa College (Autonomous), Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India. His research interests include regenerative biology, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, developmental biology, molecular biology, amphibian regeneration, and regenerative medicine using amphibian model systems. His doctoral research focused on deciphering the molecular mechanisms underlying tail regeneration in Clinotarsus curtipes through integrative transcriptomic and multi-omics approaches. He has published research papers in Scopus- and Web of Science-indexed journals, authored 20 book chapters, holds a patent, and serves as a reviewer and editor for several academic books. He is currently working as a Trainer with the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC), Government of Tamil Nadu, delivering skill development and employability training programmes for higher education students.
