About
Researcher in computational mechanics domain with research experience in nonlinear structural mechanics. I will be shortly submitting my doctoral thesis on geometric nonlinear vibration of thickness-tapered rectangular laminated plates. The thesis focuses on integrating the finite element method, harmonic balance method (via the alternating Frequency-Time technique), and arclength continuation to develop an efficient and robust numerical framework for computing the amplitude-frequency curves and subsequent bifurcation analysis. I am looking forward to exploring broader areas in the field of nonlinear dynamics of structures, such as intentional use of nonlinearities in vibration control and energy harvesting, MEMS/NEMS systems, nonlocal elasticity, reduced-order modeling of structures, fluid-structure interactions, etc.
