About

Dr Vivek Kumar Singh is a Professor in Computer Science at University of Delhi, India. Prior to this he was Professor in Dept of Computer Science at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. His primary research interests are in Text Analytics, Scientometrics and Information Systems. At present, he is on deputation to Govt of India, working as Senior Adviser in NITI Aayog.

Dr Singh received Masters’s and Doctoral degree in Computer Science from the University of Allahabad, Allahabad, India during 2001 and 2010, respectively. He has served as a Faculty member at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India (2004 to 2011) and South Asian Univesity, New Delhi, India (2011-2015). Currently he is in Banaras Hindu University.

Dr Singh is a senior member of IEEE, and member of ACM and IEEE-CS. His research on Text Analytics and Scientometrics is funded by DST, Govt. of India, UGC, Govt. of India and also by international funding agencies like DAAD, Germany and CONACYT, Mexico.
