About
Pursuing PhD at the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Madras.
Working on providing sustainable solutions to modern-day problems using naturally occurring materials as follows:
1. Formation of green pellets from powdered activated carbon.
2. Synthesis of a range of pillared clays with tunable physical and chemical properties
3. Wastewater treatment through adsorption using pillared clays, for single and multicomponent systems
4. Catalytic pyrolysis of plastic waste for circular economy
5. Studying mechanistic insights of various processes using Density Functional Theory
I am interested in applying the chemical engineering concepts of design and the innovative concepts that I learned during my research to solve modern-day problems faced in chemical and allied industries.
