About

Researcher exploring the convergence of micro- and nanoelectronics, novel transistor design, and biosensor technologies to enable high-impact developments in healthcare and electronics.

Expertise encompasses device design, TCAD-based simulation and modeling (Synopsys Sentaurus and Silvaco ATLAS), fabrication, characterization, packaging, and system integration, underpinned by a strong foundation in semiconductor device physics, carrier transport, and nanoscale electrostatics.

Research spans metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) devices with high-k dielectrics, FinFETs, Quantum FinFETs (Q-FinFETs), and gate-all-around architectures, as well as Gallium Nitride High Electron Mobility Transistors (GaN HEMTs) and nanowire field-effect transistors (NW-FETs) for next-generation electronic and sensing platforms.

A significant focus is on bioelectronic and biosensing devices, particularly GaN HEMT-based platforms for non-invasive, label-free detection of clinically relevant biomarkers associated with traumatic brain injury and neurodegenerative disorders. Work also includes the development of packaged biosensing systems and handheld diagnostic platforms, enabling the practical translation of semiconductor devices into portable healthcare technologies.

Broader research interests include semiconductor devices, nanoelectronics, biosensors, biomedical instrumentation, mixed-signal systems, and embedded electronics, with emphasis on device-to-system integration for emerging sensing applications.
