Prof. (Dr) Devendra Singh is a distinguished academician, researcher, and legal scholar with nearly 26 years of experience spanning teaching, academic administration, industry, consulting, and research. He possesses an exceptional interdisciplinary academic background, holding doctoral degrees in both law and finance, with specialised expertise in banking laws, artificial intelligence (AI) regulations, corporate law, financial regulation, and business law.
His academic qualifications include B.Com. (Hons), M.Com., LL.B. (Hons), LL.M., MBA (Finance), and PhD degrees in finance and a second PhD in law, reflecting a strong commitment to multidisciplinary scholarship and continuous learning.
Currently serving as Professor and Domain Head of Business Law, Finance, and Corporate AI Laws, he has held leadership positions at prominent institutions, including Amity Law School, Amity University, Noida; Galgotias Business School; and Accurate Institute of Management & Technology. His academic contributions encompass curriculum development, institutional leadership, research supervision, and policy-orientated scholarship.
Dr. Singh’s research focuses on corporate laws, banking and financial regulations, project finance, financial institutions, emerging markets, AI governance, and technology law. He has authored numerous research papers in reputed national and international journals, chaired and organised academic conferences, and actively participated in scholarly forums across India and abroad.
His contributions to higher education and research have been recognised through several prestigious honours, including the National Education Excellence Award, Outstanding Academic Leader & Visionary Educator of the Year Award, and the Star Samachar Award. He has also authored academic books published by international publishers and has been associated with research and policy projects supported by organisations such as the National Commission for Women (NCW) and the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).
Through his extensive academic, research, and professional engagements, Prof. (Dr.) Devendra Singh continues to make significant contributions to the advancement of legal education, financial regulation, AI law, and interdisciplinary research at both national and international levels.
