Pooja Bhardwaj

About

Dr. Pooja Bhardwaj (M.Sc., PhD, NET) doctorate from Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. She is currently Scientist C at the Microbiology Division of ICMR-RMRC Gorakhpur and has led national projects on molecular diagnostics, including CRISPR/Cas-based platforms for dengue, chikungunya, scrub typhus, and rickettsial infections. Dr. Bhardwaj has authored more than 25+ peer reviewed international publications, contributed to book chapters with leading publishers, and filed several patents on innovative diagnostic technologies. She has delivered oral and poster presentations at numerous national and international conferences and served as keynote speaker. Her achievements include the Young Scientist Fellowship (2021), Best Innovation Award at the ICMR Intramural Summit (2023), and Best Research Paper Award at the DHR ICMR Health Research Excellence Summit (2024). She is a lifetime member of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World and American Chemical Society since 2026.
