About
I have been performing ab initio calculations for exploring electronic, optical and magnetic properties of bulk and nanostructures. Earlier I had been working in doped boron nanotubes and explored the electronic and optical systems by stabilizing them. Currently I have been working on rare earth free permanent magnet materials. We achieved high maximum energy product for FePt/FeCo superlattices and the optimum thickness pf each phase is around 2 nm. We are also exploring magnetoelectric materials. Recently, We have stated on 2D layers of III-V group elements.
