Prof. S.K. Shukla, FRSC, FIE is former Pro-Vice Chancellor, Ranchi University and currently working in the field of Thermal Engineering and Renewable Energy Technology at Mechanical Engineering Department, IIT (BHU), Varanasi, India. He is a senior Professor and founder Coordinator of Centre of Excellence in Energy and Resources Development (CERD) at IIT (BHU), Varanasi. He has been a Visiting Professor under MHRD, Govt. of India Secondment to Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok and University of Technology, Mauritius under UGC award. He has developed research Collaborations with Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, University of Leeds, UK, University of Technology, Mauritius and GIFU University, Japan. He has developed MoU with Tata Motors in the field of Thermal Engineering and Renewable Energy Technology. He has delivered number of invited talks in International conferences/symposiums/ workshops on various issues in the field of Renewable Energy and Alternate Fuel Technologies. He is a recipient of UGC-TEC Consortium Agreement Award 2010 in Sustainable Energy by University Grants Commission, New Delhi, India. Recently he has been awarded by Japanese Society for Promotion of Sciences, JSPS Fellow Award 2014-15 for Visiting GIFU University, Japan. He is expert and advisor member in different committees of Govt. of India.
