Dr.V.Rama is presently working as an Associate Professor at Electronics and Communication Engineering Dept., at NIT Warangal. She has 25 years of teaching experience at NIT Warangal.
Education: She completed her schooling from Fathima Girls High School in 1984, Intermediate (BiPC) education from Pingle Govt. College for Women, Waddepally, Warangal and Diploma in ECE from Govt Polytechnic for Women, Warangal.

• B.Tech (ECE) from JNTU, Kakinada
• M.Tech (E&I) and Ph.D from NIT Warangal. Her research area focuses in Bio medical Signal Processing and Artificial Neural Networks.
• M.A(Sociology) from Dr.B.R. Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad.
• She published papers in an International conferences and reputed journals and also presented papers in different countries- USA, UK, Malaysia, France and Spain.
• She received an Innovation patent on “A Tele-Health Care System and Method for Early Disease Detection”
• She has been one of the authors of M.Sc text book titled “Semiconductor Devices-Analog and Digital Electronics”
• She guided several B.Tech and M.Tech projects. Currently she is guiding three full time Ph.D scholars-1.M.Rajkumar 2.Abhinavya 3.E.Padmaja

She worked in NIT Warangal at various capacities as

• Staff adviser of Quiz Club
• OBC Coordinator
• Staff adviser of Painting club
• Ladies Hostel Warden
• Basic Electronics Lab In charge

Coordinated the following TEQIP sponsored programs on
• “Six week IT training program for Rural Girl Students” (three programs )
• “Women and Academic leadership” for women academicians
• UGC sponsored workshops on “Capacity Building for Women Managers in Higher Education” to all women academicians of different universities(two programs )
• One day workshop on “Work Place Challenges-Strategies to Overcome” to all women employees of NITW.

Coordinated the following # E&ICT sponsored Technical Workshops on
• “Basic Electronics Engineering and its Applications”
• “Advanced digital signal processing applications”
• “Current trends in Advance Digital Signal Processing”
• “Telemedicine in Rural Healthcare” (Jan 16th -21st , 2023)

• Savithri Bhai National fellowship Award by Bharatiya Dalit Sahitya Academy, Delhi.
• Women of Excellence Award by Tharuni Social Service organization
• Kalathapaswi Puraskaram by Kalataswi news magazine.
• Training of Trainers (ToT) certificate from UGC Standing committee for conducting capacity building for women managers in higher education.
