About
Principal Scientist and Lab Head, Division of Genomic Resources, ICAR-NBPGR, New Delhi. Dr. Mahesh Yadav is heading NICRA project since Feb 2015. His group has identified numerous QTLs/QTNs for salinity, drought, heat and grain size in bread wheat. Dr. Yadav has developed 5-parent and 8-parent MAGIC populations in bread wheat, which are in advanced stage of attaining homogygosity. Besides, he has developed DNA barcodes for Oryza species.
