About
Dr. Sathish C works in the areas of Sociology of Minorities, Rural Development, Caste, Gender, and Social Exclusion studies. He has published research articles in social science journals such as Sociological Bulletin, Journal of Rural Development, and Journal of the Anthropological Survey of India, The Eastern Anthropologist, and Madhya Pradesh Journal of Social Sciences. He is a recipient of the Thiru K. Kamaraj Gold Medal for securing first rank in M.A. Sociology from the University of Madras and was awarded the Madras University Merit Fellowship. He has reviewed research articles for journals including International Journal of Sociology and Social Policy (Emerald), Cogent Social Sciences (Routledge), and Journal of Infrastructural Development (Sage). He served as Principal (i/c) of Andaman Law College for one year.
