About
Satishkumar Naikar received his Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from Karnatak University in 2015. He completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Library Automation and Networking from University of Hyderabad in 2018. He qualified the UGC-NET examination in 2018 conducted by the University Grants Commission and also cleared the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) in 2017 conducted by University of Mysore. Presently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from Karnatak University. He is currently working as a Librarian at Badruka School of Management, Hyderabad, and has more than nine years of professional experience in business school and university libraries. He has published 33 research papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, and edited books. His research interests include Scientometrics, Bibliometrics, Information Technology, Library Automation, Academic Libraries, User Studies, Electronic Information Resources (EIRs), and RFID Technology.
