About

He is currently Professor (Competitiveness and IB) at the School of Management, IIT Bombay. He serves on Board of Directors of IAMOT and SINE (formerly), the technology business incubator+ of IIT Bombay. He was Elected President of the Global Institute of Flexible Systems ManagemenT (GIFT), a leading professional society of Asia having top niche IB strategy / management journals from Asia such as JFSM and JGBC. He worked with the Department of Management Studies (DMS), IIT Delhi as a core faculty for more than a decade and made several unique contributions by setting lab related to competitiveness that nurtured several CXO-level PhDs. He has done select projects in Japan including Visiting Associate Professorship at the Institute of Innovation Research, Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo and has also worked with Shimizu Corporation. He has been contributing in editorial advisory roles to journals such as the International Journal of Global Business and Competitiveness (JGBC, a mentor), Global Journal of Flexible Systems Management (JFSM) and Journal of Advances in Management Research (JAMR). He has authored/edited (singly/jointly) two books and published more than 30 papers in refereed national and international journals (h-index 29). He enjoys working with energetic teams and members willing to take challenges in tough contexts.
