Born on 24th March, 1978, Prof. Priyanshu Rathod, PT, PhD, is serving as a Professor and Director at School of Physiotherapy and Dean, Faculty of Medicine, at RK University, Rajkot, Gujarat. He has almost 20 years of clinical and academic experience in field of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Science.
He has received India Medico Award 2020 by The Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAPs), Lifetime Achievement Award by World Physiotherapy Congress 2019. He serves as a Chief Editor for ISBN approved Quarterly Published Physiotherapy Newsletter – Physioforum.
Prof. Priyanshu is American Heart Association (AHA), USA certified Instructor for Basic Life Support (BLS) and organises numbers of workshop to train people for life saving skills of CPR.
He has keen research interest in Innovation and Sustainable Technology to support physiotherapy diagnosis and therapeutics. His Research work “Innovative RK Walker” awarded for the Best Poster Abstract Presentation at International Physiotherapy Conference held in Dubai, UAE in 2016. He has developed “Stroke Recovery Predictor” a mobile application in 2019 which has received copyright from Copyright office, Gov of India.
