About

I am an academician and researcher with over 16 years of combined experience in academia, research, and industry. Currently, I serve as Head – Academic Delivery and Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Chitkara University, Punjab, India.

My career integrates 5.5 years of focused research with more than 8 years of diverse industrial experience across Utilities, IT, Telecom, and Manufacturing—bridging academic rigor with practical engineering insights. I earned my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in 2022, where I developed a deep learning-based CAD system for breast cancer diagnosis, a copyrighted innovation contributing to medical AI.

To date, I have published 44 research papers in SCOPUS- and Web of Science-indexed journals, conferences, and book chapters. I also hold 3 patents and 2 Malaysian copyrights, underscoring my commitment to innovation and intellectual property development.

As a certified PUBLONS Academy (Web of Science) Mentor and Peer Reviewer, I actively contribute to global research quality. I am a professional member of MIET (UK), BEM, MBOT, IEEE, and IAENG, and have strengthened my academic profile through international certifications in Machine Learning (Stanford University), Deep Learning (MATLAB), and University Teaching (University of Hong Kong).

As an educator and mentor, I take pride in guiding students in impactful research, conference presentations, and scholarly publications—fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and innovation.
