About
Presently, I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at NIT Rourkela. I completed my doctoral study at IIT Kharagpur. I worked on mathematical modelling of the railway catenary and pantograph systems, and studied their coupled dynamics from wave propagation and multibody system approach. I graduated from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and completed my masters from IIT Delhi, New Delhi. During my postgraduate study, I studied singularity and workspace analyses of different parallel manipulators. My areas of interest include multibody dynamics, mechanical vibration, wave propagation in continuous systems, etc. I have acquired substantial programming knowledge in computer algebraic systems like Wolfram Mathematica. I have also skills in 3D modelling software like Dassault Solidworks. I have more than one year of teaching experience in reputed institutes like BITS Pilani.
