• I am presently working as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology, Tamil Nadu, Chennai, India.
• Having 20+ years of experience it includes the information technology industry, teaching, and rich research experience.
• Received doctorate (Ph.D.-Full Time) degree in computer science and engineering.
• Received Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) under the funded project of the Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Mumbai, India.
• As a part of my research work, I have contributed to the development of a tool for image processing named “BHADRALOKA” which was successfully implemented in Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu, India.
• Published more than 35 research articles in reputed journals and conferences(SCI and SCOPUS).
• Editor and reviewer of reputed journals.
• Filed 3 patents in Intellectual property India. Received two GRANTs. Filed and granted a international patent.
• Three edited books published in Jhon Wiley and Taylor & Francis publications.
Specialization: Digital Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Statistical and analysis, Machine Learning, and Deep learning
Area of interest: Developing machine vision inspection tools, radiography, thermography, medical, remote sensing image processing.
