About

I completed my doctoral studies at IIT Patna, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision, under the guidance of Prof. Asif Ekbal (IIT Jodhpur) and Prof. Pushpak Bhattacharyya (IIT Bombay). My doctoral research focused on Multimodal Analysis and Fusion Techniques, including Multimodal Sentiment and Emotion Analysis, Sarcasm Detection and Cause Extraction, Causal Reasoning, Video Summarization, Pretraining and Fine-tuning Multimodal LLMs, and RAG-based Chatbot Development. Currently, my work explores Multimodal Mathematical and Logical Reasoning, Human-AI Interaction, Virtual Teaching Assistant (AI-powered tutoring system), Multimodal RAG, Multi-Agent Agentic AI Systems, and more, to build intuitive, transparent, and context-aware AI systems that seamlessly integrate perceptual and linguistic understanding.

Following the submission of my doctoral thesis, I worked as an AI/ML Scientist at Adroitent, contributing to projects on Routing RAG agents, advanced LLMs, and indexing systems (e.g., ChromaDB, Azure) for applications such as DROIT search, profile-matching chatbots, and video interview analysis. I later joined krtrimaIQ Cognitive Solutions as a Senior AI Engineer, where my work primarily focused on developing agentic-AI frameworks, encompassing LLM design and fine-tuning, as well as scalable RAG pipelines. I led two flagship projects, Mathematical Reasoning and a Virtual Teaching Assistant, aimed at building autonomous, reasoning-driven AI agents capable of interactive problem-solving and personalized tutoring, advancing the practical adoption of agentic-AI systems.
