About
Dr P. Janaki Ramulu is the Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and worked as Director of Center for Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (From 2017 to 2022) at Adama Science and Technology University, Adama. He completed graduation in Mechanical to Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University affiliated college, Hyderabad, India in 2001, Master of Technology in Manufacturing Engineering from National Institute of Foundry Forge Technology (NIFFT) Ranchi, India in 2004 and obtained PhD from Indian )Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG), Guwahati, India in 2013. His research interest primarily includes advanced metal joining techniques, sheet metal forming, tailor welded blanks, modeling simulation of metal forming process, material characterization, welding technologies, different metal forming processes analysis, AI and ML applications in Manufacturing process. He specialized in experimental and modeling simulation of sheet metal with different formability tests. He has guided 39 UG, 40 PG and 4 PhDs in his academic and research experience since 2004. Also, published more than 200+ papers in the form of Journals, Proceedings, Book chapters, Books and conferences. He won the best papers awards for himself and his students in the international conferences. He participated and presented his papers more than 18 international conferences across the globe. He also delivered more than 18 keynote lectures in the various occasions. Many more to be executed in the upcoming years.
