About
Leena joined IIT Bombay in Dec 2009 after completing her Ph.D. from IIT Madras. She has contributed to embedded control and robotic applications that include multi-agent mapping, exploration, patrolling, and coverage. She has developed laboratories on embedded control systems and autonomous robots, and multi-agent systems with unique concepts. She has been a faculty advisor of (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) AUV-IITB team since its inception in 2010. Her current research interests are perception modeling and control for single and multi-agent applications, edge computing for IoT, and multi-agent applications for IoT frameworks. She has also contributed in the translational research in IoT through the establishment of Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) at IIT Bombay under National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems.
