About
My field of specialization is medicinal plants, their pharmacological evaluations using various in vitro and in vivo screening systems. Medicinal plants During my PhD I have also done isolation and characterization of few important compounds from Carissa opaca. I have performed in vitro test, e.g. antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant, cytotoxicity using various extracted fractions and isolated compounds. I have performed in vivo studies using rats and mice as animal models. I have evaluated the effect of extracted fraction on mice liver, lungs, kidneys, heart tissue homogenates as well serum biomarkers etc. I have screened out various parameters e.g. all tissue enzymes, liver function tests, lungs function test, renal function tests and monitored the protective effects of plants extracts on all these biomarkers.
Currently I am working on the nanoparticles synthesized from medicinal plants and their screening using in vitro and in vivo test systems.
