HEM DUTT JOSHI
Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, JUET
About
Dr. Joshi is involved very extensively in the research regarding high data rate wireless communication
system and signal processing. He is member of IEEE society and life time member of IETE society. He has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience. He did one year Post-Doc work at Trinity College of Dublin under the supervision of Dr. Nicola Marchetti. During post-doc, he did simulation, experimental and analytical work on wireless sensor network. He has supervised two PhD students in the area of MIMO-OFDM system and currently, he is supervising two PhD students in the area of 5G communication system. Along with PhD student, he has also guided more than 15 M.E Thesis. He has published more than 20 papers in renowned International journals and conference. He has completed one research project funded by Thapar
University in 2016. His research interest is basically inclined toward the OFDM and MIMO-OFDM systems. His work includes: Antenna Designing, windowing techniques to reduce the ICI in OFDM system, timing and frequency synchronization in OFDM system, PAPR reduction in OFDM using windowing techniques, performance analysis of SFBC-OFDM system over generalized fading channel and BER analysis of OFDM system with CFO in Rayleigh fading channel.
