About

Dr. Somya Ranjan Sahoo received his PhD. in Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, India. He received his M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and B Tech in Information Technology from Bijupatnayak University, Odisha. Presently, he is working as Assistant Professor Sr. Grade 1 at VIT-AP, University, Andhra Pradesh. He has published more than 25 research articles in different reputed international peer-reviewed journals. And, he has served as reviewer for few international peer-reviewed journals. He has filed 7 different patents in the field of social network security, drone application in agriculture and smart interactive voice-based chat for blind people. He has published one text book related to social network security and privacy. He is having more than 11 years of teaching and research experience. His research area includes Information Security, Cyber Security, OSN Security, IOT Security and Cloud Security. He is an active member of IEEE and ACM India
