Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Noor Azurati Ahmad@Salleh is the Director of Technology Transfer at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia’s Innovation and Commercialisation Centre (UTM ICC), where she leads strategic programs in AI innovation, ethics, and research translation. She serves as an IEEE CertifAIEd™ AI Ethics Lead Assessor, playing a global role in evaluating and certifying responsible and transparent AI systems.
She is also the Chief Editor of the Open International Journal in Informatics (OIJI), a MyCite-indexed journal focused on intelligent systems and digital innovation. Her technical expertise spans cyber-physical systems, AI ethics, edge AI, and human-centered computing, with ongoing research addressing ethical and inclusive AI applications in healthcare, education, and surveillance.
As a senior technology transfer professional, Dr. Azurati has led numerous initiatives to commercialize university-driven innovations and build industry-academia linkages across ASEAN and beyond. She is the Conference Chair for the IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Innovation (AI-SI 2025), a global platform for advancing responsible AI.
In recognition of her contributions to innovation in higher education, she received the Special Award from King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia at SIIF 2025 (Seoul International Invention Fair), held at COEX, Seoul. The award acknowledged her work titled "ICCubeX Ignite: Crafting Tomorrow’s Solutions for Malaysia’s Higher Education"—a program designed to cultivate AI-driven solutions among youth and researchers in Malaysian universities.
