Dr.S.S.Patil, present Professor of Computer Science, Dean of Akal College of Engineering and Technology,Eternal University, Baru Sahib, Sirmour Dist ,HP state and External Guide at Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Public University in Belgaum, Karnataka REVA University Bangalore. previously Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore. He has published several International and National conference papers, journal articles, and books to his credit. He completed his Ph. D. from GUG and has guided over 15 M.Sc. as Chairman, 100 as Advisory Members, 7 Ph. D. as Chairman, and 60 as Advisory members to the student in his 30 years of academic research and 35 years of teaching. He is an author of a book titled “Pattern Classification of grass genome sequences”, published by LAP Lambert Academic Publishing (2012). another two books "Data Mining" and "Computational Biology in Bioinformatics". Reviewed several Ph. D. and M.Sc. Thesis, International and National conference papers, and journal articles Chaired the Sessions of conferences and was a Member of the selection committee of Professors, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, and Bioinformatics of universities and Institutes. Member of many Scientific Bodies. Delivered several invited special lectures to many universities and institutes.
