About

Dr Subrahmanya Bhat K presently Professor of Chemistry at Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal Academy of Higher Education with experience of over 20 years. Immediately after completing PhD at Mangalore University with CSIR-JRF & SRF, he joined the prestigious GE India Technology Centre, Bangalore as Research Scientist to work on new monomer and process development. Dr. Bhat also qualified Six sigma green belt certification. He joined at MIT in the year 2009 as a faculty to teach M.Sc Chemistry and Engineering Chemistry for B.Tech graduates. He received patent award from GE India, qualified in NET for lectureship of CSIR and received citation award (Single article with more than 700 citations) from Elsevier. He had a short visit to Academia Sinica, Taiwan to work in the area of organic synthesis. He has over 90 research publications and 2 patents to his credit.
